VOLUNTEER!

Part of OSAC's new educateHUMANE! project requires help from the community through volunteerism.

You can help to make the world a better place for pets by becoming an education volunteer.

Volunteer Opportunity

Training Sessions

The first training will begin in the fall of 2013.  Classes will meet on four Tuesday evenings for about three hours each week.  Once volunteers successfully complete the training program, they will teach under the supervision of the program director until they feel confident and ready to go out to schools on their own.  Volunteers will teach in teams!

Qualifications

Applicants must be at least 21 years of age, have a valid, clean driver’s license, and be a high school graduate.  We prefer volunteers who are up-beat, good with people, confident, and enjoy a challenge. Smiles are not only welcome, they are part of the job!

Background checks will be done on all applicants at the expense of OSAC.  Applicants must be willing to contribute two days per month and be willing to adhere to the rules of conduct designated for this volunteer program.

Applicant Process

Click here to apply online or call the office and we will be happy to send you one.  Return the completed application online or by mail, and we will contact you within a few days.
